Bangladesh is a populous country and 40% of its population live below margin of poverty. Most of the poor people are shelter less. .....% of its population live in urban places. It may be mentioned here that 10.50% of the Govt. servants live in Dhaka are provided with accommodation from Govt. The rest live under their own arrangements either in self owned or in rented houses.

The role of MCL Housing Ltd. in the field of housing is playing a pivotal role in diminishing the sufferings of the mass people.
